I have a few home renovation posts to share, but let’s kick it off with our recent guest bathroom turned pool bathroom renovation.
The backstory…
During the pandemic, our refrigerator had a leak that caused all of our wood floors to buckle and need replacement. This also meant that our entire kitchen would basically have to be demolished due to the cabinetry, so, we opted to just gut the whole area and renovate the house exactly how we preferred.
Since most of the main floor of our home was being renovated, we decided that the bathroom right off of our pool area needed a facelift. Enter our contractor extraordinaire, Spruill Remodel. I came up with a vision and they executed it to perfection!
Let’s start with a few before pictures, shall we?
Dated and dark. Believe it or not, we had already given it a bit of a facelift with some paint, but clearly it was time to change things up.
I started with some inspiration images and marked them up with my notes in Illustrator – because I’m extra like that. I’m sure I would be most contractor’s worst nightmare, but I’d like to think I’ve been fairly easy during this whole process – and, if anything, detailed.
We just wrapped up the majority of the renovations today, so I snapped a few photos to share the after. Night and day compared to where we started – and we completely nailed the aesthetic I was going for! I couldn’t be happier with the end results.
