My daughter and I headed to see Barbie for the second time last weekend. Mainly to go and have the experience with some of our girlfriends, but, truth be told, I fell asleep from pure exhaustion during our first go-round and wanted to see what I missed!
Of course, nothing is more fun when you’re ten than getting dressed up in pink with your mom, so I was more than happy to oblige – even though we all know that bright colors are not my wheelhouse. We made it work, though, for a second time. On this visit, I opted to skip the dress and wear a much more comfortable pink sweater set from Amazon. And, since my pre-teen stole my original purse, I borrowed her VERY pink and girl crossbody for the evening.
