I was invited to the rodeo recently, and what to wear was the first panicked thought in my head. I’m not a big Western-wear person, but I love to dress accordingly when going somewhere. Of course, I am still a Texan and own several pairs of cowboy boots because they just go with any style. They are classic.
I threw together several options that I think would work for someone with a similar style to me, and I also threw on a few of the looks to see how they were in person. Ultimately, I wore my tried and true all-black, with cowboy boots and a little western belt that tied it all together. I couldn’t pull the trigger on wearing a hat, but maybe one day, I’ll invest in a quality one for moments like these.
My actual boots aren’t made anymore, but I’m loving this new version in a similar colorway from Tecovas!
